Guidance for Teachers
Some notes for teachers offering free sessions.
- You can offer as many free sessions as you want. Typically, 6 sessions are offered but many are offering unlimited.
- If you do start charging after a set number of sessions, please avoid the “hard sell”.
- Many attendees may not be as fit as they’d like to be due to chemotherapy, radiotherapy and other treatments, and may be dealing with surgery issues. Advise attendees to only do as much as they can and to listen to their bodies.
- Please be careful not to highlight to other attendees that a particular individual may be dealing with cancer. Some may be happy to let others know whilst others will prefer to keep this information private.
